Venetian Waterways

Originally opened in the 1920s and recently beautifully restored, the Venetian Waterways offer a peaceful oasis just steps from the bustling Golden Mile. These elegant landscaped gardens are one of Great Yarmouth's most pleasant surprises.

What to See

The waterways feature a boating lake where you can hire pedal boats, beautifully planted flower beds, ornamental bridges and shaded seating areas. The gardens have been lovingly restored to their original 1920s grandeur, with colourful planting throughout the seasons.

Location

The waterways are located at the northern end of the seafront, near Britannia Pier. They are free to enter, with a small charge for boat hire.
