Seafront Promenade
The broad promenade stretches the full length of the Golden Mile, from Wellington Pier in the south to Britannia Pier in the north. It is flat, accessible and perfect for a leisurely stroll with views out to sea. Continue north beyond the piers for quieter stretches towards Caister-on-Sea.
Beach Walks
Great Yarmouth has 15 miles of sandy coastline. Walk south along the beach to Gorleston for stunning views and a different atmosphere. Walk north towards Caister and Hemsby for quieter beaches and sand dunes.

Follow the River Yare towards Breydon Water for a peaceful riverside walk with opportunities to spot wading birds and other wildlife. This is where the Norfolk Broads meet the sea.
